Are You Using AI to Its Full Potential?
A couple of months ago, I wrote a post "Don't Just Vibe and Hope" and it focused on a developer's workflow for using AI to write quality code without adding technical debt.
I read a recent New Stack article and it expanded on this, looking at the problem from a team level. While my post was about the craft of coding, it argued for using AI to automate the tasks around coding—like documentation and status updates.
This is a crucial point. True AI discipline isn't just about better code generation; it's about offloading routine work to free our focus for complex problem-solving. We can move from using AI as just a coding partner to an intelligent agent for the entire team. This is where the real productivity gains are waiting.
How are you using AI beyond just generating code?
